About: Corrina Antrobus

Born and bred east Londoner who remembers when Percy Ingle was the trendiest bakery in Broadway Market and walking though London Fields was suicidal. She studied Media Production and Performance at Luton University and made documentaries on mixed-race relationships and traveled to California to shoot a film on Native American reservations. This led to teaching documentary production in Summer Universities. She’s written for Virgin Media online for seven years reviewing restaurants, music festivals and travel destinations – the best being a hotel in Mexico who printed ‘Miss Antrobus’ in gold leaf on toilet paper. True story. After editing Virgin’s celebrity channel for three years, she ditched concerns on Cheryl Cole’s VPL and began marketing and writing about independent film for Virgin Movies. She now spends 40% of the week sitting in the dark eating popcorn. When not watching films she can be found watching performance poetry, stomping around a music festival, snooping in charity shops and trying to remain polite when drunk people try and fondle her afro.
